Showcase of Railway HVAC and Thermal Management Solutions at InnoTrans Berlin 2026

Friday, January 16, 2026

DC Airco will exhibit at InnoTrans Berlin in Hall 3.1, Stand 560, presenting its electric HVAC and thermal management solutions designed specifically for railway and rolling stock applications.

Rail vehicles operate under strict technical and regulatory requirements while demanding reliable climate control for both passengers and onboard equipment. DCAirco develops compact, energy efficient HVAC systems for a wide range of rail applications, including trains, trams, shuttles, locomotives, rail coaches, operator cabs, wagons, passenger movers, and autonomous or self driving systems.

The company’s low power, high output HVAC units provide dependable climate control for each scenario. Designed for straightforward integration, these systems are suitable for both new-build vehicles and retrofits of existing rolling stock, including metro trains, trams, locomotive cabs, and autonomous rail shuttles. Standard, proven platforms can be adapted quickly to reduce development time and costs, while custom-engineered solutions are available for smaller series and specialized requirements.

DC Airco’s product portfolio includes cab air conditioning systems, passenger HVAC units, and battery chillers for both battery powered and electrically supplied rail vehicles. All solutions are engineered to meet stringent railway standards for fire safety, shock and vibration resistance, electromagnetic compatibility, and passenger and driver comfort, ensuring reliable long term operation in daily service.

Applicable standards include EN 45545, EN 61373, EN 50121, EN 14750, and EN 14813, among others. The systems support a wide range of AC and DC supply voltages, enabling seamless integration across diverse vehicle architectures.

Visitors are invited to meet the DC Airco team at Hall 3.1, Stand 560 during InnoTrans Berlin to discuss HVAC and thermal management solutions for modern and future rail vehicles.
