Climate Control Solution for Marshall Defence Equipment

DC Airco supplied its DC 10002 24 Vdc wall mounted air conditioning system for use in Marshall Defence equipment, supporting reliable thermal management in mission critical defence applications.

The DC 10002 is a fully dc powered, packaged air conditioning unit designed for heavy duty applications such as defence systems, telecom installations, and protected electrical enclosures. All components are integrated into a single compact housing, allowing rapid installation without the need for cabinet penetration or complex external assemblies.

Providing up to 3,9 kW of cooling capacity with exceptionally low power consumption, the unit combines high efficiency with soft start operation, avoiding current peaks during start up—an important requirement for battery powered and mobile defence platforms. The system operates reliably at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C, ensuring stable performance under extreme environmental conditions.

Housed in a zinc plated, powder coated steel enclosure, the DC 10002 is engineered for durability and long service life in harsh operational environments. Its 24 VDC design, low noise levels, and non flammable R134a refrigerant make it well suited for defence applications where safety, reliability, and energy efficiency are critical.

This project demonstrates DC Airco’s capability to deliver robust, energy efficient climate control solutions tailored to the demanding requirements of defence and security equipment.
