DC Airco type 8000 is developed with J.W.J. Rumping and Sons, The Netherlands. Intensive testing in 2003 and 2004 with 7 units mounted on 7 trucks owned by J.W.J Rumping and sons, showed very good results. The trucks have two drivers and drive during the night. Most drivers are using the dc 8000 also while driving to save fuel. In 2005 and 2007 Rumping ordered more DC 8000 for the new trucks (also the DAF 105XF)
